RULE 2 of 5 - Building Your Personal Brand Online: Make your profile pop in proof.

Have you ever had unannounced guests just turn up at your house??

It’s something out of a nightmare!

Your home might not be as clean as you wanted, or you had laundry to do stacked in a basket, or perhaps you had things still left in the sink?

Despite your home not being as clean or as well presented as you'd like, people will still 'pop in'...

...and that's the same as your LinkedIn profile 👀

So how do you ensure your LinkedIn is 'pop-in proof'?

⚡️Have a great profile picture; one where we can see your face, and is a good reflection of who you are in real life. If you don’t wear suits in real life, you shouldn’t be wearing one in your profile picture.

⚡️Have a clear headline and header; who are you, and what do you do? This is where your elevator pitch is comes in handy.

⚡️Have an interesting about me section, with a captivating initial line; if the first line isn’t interesting, I am not clicking ‘read more’. AND If you are talking about university in your about section and you left university more than 5 years ago, your about me section needs a refresh.

⚡️Ensure your experience is up to date

We are all about getting the basics right before trying to create content every day.

So, is your profile pop in proof??
